Dear Ladies and Gentelmen,
The European Shotokan Karate Championship, which we will organize for the 14th time this year, will be held in Tata, Hungary. I am very pleased to see that the activities of our World Shotokan Federation, which was established many years ago with a lot of effort, continue successfully without slowing down. We see that the number of member countries has exceeded 80 with the newly joined Countries, which shows that the trust in the World Shotokan Federation continues to increase.
I hope that our participants, who will come from different countries of Europe, will leave this competition with good memories, where they will compete individually and as a team in the kata and kumite branches of Shotokan Karate.
I wish success to all administrators, coaches, referees and athletes who will participate in the 14th European Shotokan Championship.
Adrian Popescu SACELE
The President of World Shotokan Federation
