Aim of championship:
To decide and award the Wadokai European Cup titles.
Date of championship:
2 November 2019 (Saturday), starting at 09:00

Organizer:
Hungarian Wadokai Karate Federation on behalf of the Federation of Wadokai Europe (FWE)
Events:
Individual kata, kumite, Team kata, kumite.
Entry requirements:
Only Karatekas who are members of the national Wadokai association, member(or guest) of the FWE, are allowed to participate in European Wado Kai Cup.
Per individual categories 2 athletes per country are eligible to compete, as well as 1 team per country in the relevant category.
Each contestant is allowed to be registered only in his/her age category!
Registration upward is not possible neither in individual nor in team events!
Double start (= registration upward) is not allowed!
Except:
U18 (Juniors) may participate in the Senior Kata category.
U21 (Yung Adult) may participate in the Senior Kata and Kumite categorys.
Kata team ugrade possible for 1 person from category below:
This means 1 person aged 11, 12 or 13 can be in a team U16
This means 1 person aged 14 or 15 can be in a team seniors +18
For the Shobu Championships the age solely refers to the date of birth.

Rules:
The championship is subject to WKF Rules. Nevertheless special regulations are subject to proposals from the FWE Sports Committee.
KATA
WKF Flag System.
The number of Kata required is dependent on the number of individual competitors or teams entered as shown in the following table:
KATA TO PERFORM: EACH ROUND ANOTHER KATA HAS TO BE PERFORMED.
EXCEPTION: CATEGORY U14: MAXIMUM 5 KATA HAVE TO BE PERFORMED. A competitor can repeat a kata after having shown 5 kata.
KUMITE
If less than 3 competitors are registered in a category, the competitors will automatically be reallocated to the next higher weight category. If the original category is the highest category; they will automatically be reallocated to the next lower category.
Maximum 2 weight groups shall be reallocated.
3-4-5-6-7 people mixed round match.
Protection:
The championship is subject to WKF Rules.

Only those Registrations are accepted which are effected on the website

Entry fees:
Individual categories: 20 Euro,
Team categories: kata 30 Euro, kumite 50 Euro.
All entry fees for competitors registered through karateprogramok.hu have to be paid, even if the competitor does not show up.
Entry deadline:
20. October 2019. until 24:00
Payment of entry fees on the spot of the competition is not accepted!
Draw:
1. November 2019. at 12:00
Registration:
1. November 2019. 14:00 - 20:00 in the Airport Hotel.
Weighing:
1. Nov. 2019. withing timeframe 10:00 - 18:00

If someone is more than the specified weight, they will be excluded from the competition.
Awards:
Individual competition: Cup for the winner, medals for 1st, 2nd +3rd ranks
Team Competition: Cup for the winner team, medals for the competitors of the teams, 1st, 2nd +3rd ranks
Referees:
Referees delegated (sent) by the participating countries and having EKF or WKF qualification or having national referee qualification.
We pay: national referees 75 € / EKF, WKF referees 100 €
Protest:
Protests must be presented in writing and justified towards the referee in charge of the championship. A deposit of 200.-€ has to be paid in advance. If the protest is approved, the amount will be refunded.
